Panel Discussion - Unlocking the Potential of Legal Tech
Our club had proudly hosted our first panel discussion of the year: Unlocking the Potential of Legal Tech: A Beginner’s Guide, and what a night it was! 🚀 We had the privilege of hearing from Mr. Joo Hong Lim (Director, Legal Technology Transformation Office MinLaw), Adjunct Professor Mr. Josh Lee Kok Thong (SMU), Senior Librarian Mr. Bryan L., and Ms. Beatrice Tan (Head, CYS Cyber Youth Academy)—each bringing fresh insights into how technology is shaping the legal industry, the ethical dilemmas it presents, and where the future is headed.
A huge shoutout to Ms. Lauren Koek (Founder, Future Lawyers) for moderating such a thought-provoking discussion! The panel covered a wide range of topics, from how AI is transforming legal research and case management to the ethical challenges of integrating technology into legal practice.
There were also eye-opening discussions on the future of legal careers, with panelists sharing how students and professionals alike can stay ahead in this rapidly evolving space. Beyond the panel, the networking session was buzzing—great conversations, insightful questions, and of course, a solid buffet to top it all off! 🍽
